APANA VAYU MUDRA

ANGULI MUDRA FOR HEART ATTACK- an article from a Palmist table.

Recent days , I have been receiving news from relatives, near and dear , of many cases being hospitalized, due to heart attack. The bothering issue, is that ,all were between the ages of 45 to 55, prime time of Ones’s Life, when your presence in the family is of utmost importance and many important duties, yet unfinished.

For most of these cases I had already suggested, either the Life energy increasing Mudra , that is - the Praana Mudra or the Mudra for the heart. But , I observe, people tend to take these suggestions lightly. Rather , they are comfortable with other remedies, such as Name change, Signature change or more easier is wearing gemstones. They think, once you wear the gemstones, it will do magic.

It is not so.

Unless the Self changes from inside- by lifestyle modification, with good habits, healthy diets, good deeds, the external changes – like wearing lucky gemstones, using lucky colours – may not work – so easily.

These days people find it difficult to sit calmly , in one place and do Mudras.

But if you develop this habit, over the span of years, you will find amazing changes happening within you and outside you. Yes.

Mudras – How many ?

Mudras have been an integral part of many Hindu and Buddhist rituals. They are used extensively in Yoga, meditation and dance. Across various disciplines it is said that , there exist close to 399 mudras.

When can you do Mudra?

Mudras can be performed anytime, although sitting in the lotus position in regular fixed time and focusing on the healing would be more beneficial.  Although mudras can be used for healing certain ailments, regular practise of mudras will contribute to your overall good health and can be used as a preventive measure. Continuous practice of the mudras will create, minute changes in your body using the fingers of your hands, which trigger certain healing processes within the corresponding body part.

Mudra – Concept :

A Mudra (Sanskrit मुद्रा, "seal", "mark", or "gesture") is a symbolic or ritual gesture in Hinduism and Buddhism. While some mudras involve the entire body, most are performed with the hands and fingers. A mudrā is a spiritual gesture and an energetic seal of authenticity employed in the iconography and spiritual practice of Indian religions. In yoga, mudras are used in conjunction with pranayama (yogic breathing exercises), generally while seated in Padmasana, Sukhasana or Vajrasana pose, to stimulate different parts of the body involved with breathing and to affect the flow of prana in the body.

Mudras & the Panch Bhoota:

What is Mudra?

The physical body is made up of five elements namely – Air, Water, Fire, Earth and Aakash (ether – the tiny intercellular spaces in the human body).

Imbalance of these elements disrupts the immunity system and is the root cause of all human disease(s) – both mental as well as physical.

Ancient Sages found out that - deficiency in any of these elements can be corrected, through Mudras.

When a finger representing an element is brought into contact with the thumb, that element is brought into balance. Therefore the disease caused by the imbalance is cured.  Mudras start electromagnetic currents within the body which balance various constituting elements and restore health. The joining of fingers creates an effect on the human body.

Ancient sages have designated the five fingers for these five elements viz.,

* Thumb      Fire
* Index        Air
* Middle      Aakash
* Ring         Earth
* Little        Water

With this brief introduction, we will now move on to the most important Mudras, one by one, which can be adopted on a daily basis, to enrich the quality of our Life.

SIMIAN LINE

Here i have tried to register information collected from various websites, books and my own experience. A common thing i have found in people with Simian are , they are different in some way, from the remaining crowd, though, you may not be able to spot it during your first meeting. **   DIFFERENT VARIATIONS OF SIMIAN LINES First, try to identify, if the supposed line under discussion is present in the place of Heart line, Head line or in between. Because, if present in the heart line s position, it takes more of Heart lines characteristics. If in the place of Head line it takes more of Head lines characteristic.If  in between it has strong simian characteristics. ** Secondly, the line itself, may be fully Simian or partially Simian. Fully, meaning, a straight line running across the palm with little or no Heart line as in fig3. In fig1 &2 they are partially simian, with the Heartline appearing to merge with the headline below it. ** Not eve...

PALMISTRY - SOME MISCONCEPTIONS !

Aim of this article is to emphasize the following MOOL MANTRA . Mool Mantra:  Before coming to a conclusion, regarding a query, always chant this! Always , make interpretation about a palm,  as a whole, and do not come to a conclusion, by a single sign or feature. A negative symbol, perhaps, is modified, by a positive feature in some other place. Never come to a conclusion, on impulse. Patience is a virtue, more so to a Palm reader! Misconception 1: A short life line , implies, that you are going to die young. Reality:  Many octogenarians*  have short Life Line , but still they continue to live past age 80. Following is the palm of a lady who is in her mid seventies. Fig.1 fig.1 Meaning: Life Line alone does not decide your longevity. A defective (short/ broken/islanded) Life Line probably  indicates a major change in your life OR some bothering painful domestic issues.         ...
