So… the recent talk was to make the people ,be aware of the health hazards due to over weight and what ,one can do to prevent it, and lead a healthy , disease free life. An analysis of National Family Health Survey (NFHS) data shows that obesity is more prevalent among women than men. Income, age, and regional differences appear to play a weighty role too. Nearly one in 16 women and one in 25 men are obese in India.
